Injunction for Protection Videos

An injunction for protection is an order instructing someone not to contact or harm you. They are commonly referred to as “restraining orders.” If you are being hurt or threatened by a family member, a household member, or your child’s parent, regardless of whether you live together, you may want to file a petition for a restraining order.

If you need someone to talk to or to assist with safety planning, or information about your local domestic violence center, you can call the Florida Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-500-1119.

If you would like to speak with an attorney about filing a Petition for Injunction for Protection Against Domestic Violence, or about any of the other forms of injunctions for protection, please contact the CLSMF Helpline at 1-800-405-1417.
