William “Bill” Bosch
William Bosch has spent a lifetime volunteering in the communities where he has lived. In 2002 Mr. Bosch and his family moved to Volusia County. He and his family began volunteering with Volusia County Parks and Recreation, assisting with events and activities that were held to benefit children and citizens of their new home. Prior to his move to Volusia County he did pro bono work with Broward Lawyers Care.
Mr. Bosch began volunteering with Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida (CLSMF) in 2008 and has provided advice, pro se assistance and full representation to our low income clients. During 2012, Mr. Bosch donated more than 200 hours of pro bono assistance and was the 2012 recipient of Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida Pro Bono Attorney of the Year Award. He was also recognized in 2009, 2010 and 2011 for his outstanding pro bono services to our program.
While serving as the President of the Flagler County Bar, he made pro bono service and volunteer work a high priority for the members of the Flagler County Bar. Mr. Bosch provided space in his office for CLSMF to conduct monthly legal advice clinics. His support staff were also involved and assisted with scheduling clients for the clinic. If CLSMF staff were unable to recruit local attorneys to assist clients at the clinic, Mr. Bosch would recruit attorneys to do so or would volunteer himself. In attempts to place difficult cases, CLSMF would often contact Mr. Bosch who would recommend an attorney with expertise in that particular area of law and would frequently contact the attorney himself to request their service. Many clients received assistance because Mr. Bosch cared enough to reach out to others in the legal community on their behalf.
Mr. Bosch is a graduate of the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program Class XIII and has served as a member of the City of Bunnell Charter Review Committee and Community Redevelopment Agency Advisory Committee. From 2008 to 2011, he volunteered as a Scoring Judge for the Florida High School Mock Trial State Finals Competition.
He is a member of the Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar and has served on the Florida Bar Education Law Committee and Eminent Domain Committee.
